About The Maker

We have been Colorado Gardeners for over 20 years. We use Raised Bed gardening techniques, including the use of recycled plastic fabric pots, along with organic gardening practices. We produce hundreds of pounds of produce from our yard on a 1/4 acre lot - which we eat fresh and preserve with traditional canning and preservation techniques. We feel strongly that it is wiser to use our landscaping water for food vs. grass, and we also find our time in the garden to enhance our mental health too!

We begin each season by planting hundreds of seedlings. Some Pepper seeds we save from the prior season, some are newly acquired from seed companies that are cross-breeding strains and varieties every year. This year, we planted 75 varieties overall which are all represented in the sauce recipes in quite a few different blends.
