When creating Colorado Red, we kept hearing something that challenged us: "It's not hot enough!" While Colorado Red is hot enough for some, we wanted to make something that no one would ask for a hotter version. Enter Colorado Red Extreme. With many of the same flavor characteristics as its milder brother, it also introduces a few extra profiles to set it apart. Some of these differences include malt vinegar, black pepper, Oh! a ridiculous amount of the world's hottest pepper: The Carolina Reaper.

From our least spicy sauces like Colorado Green and Roasted and Toasted to our very spicy creations like Colorado Red Extreme, you will find a variety of flavors and heat. Colorful Colorado Creations is excited to be cooking and providing its first batch of commercial cooked sauces in December of 2022!
On every label, you will find the line saying, "Making sauce, not getting sauced since 4-19-20." This is the day Derek took his last hit. Although he had given up other substances years before this, this is the date he took his last mind or mood altering substance. The decision to give up ALL drugs and alcohol was what made the creation of these tasty sauces possible. Derek is a recovering addict who loves to share his experience, strength, and hope with others. He wants all addicts and those who are left in the wake of the destructive force that is addiction to know that there is a way out and always hope. Never give up, because life on the other side is beyond rewarding.
