Hell Fire Detroit ~ Bourbon Habanero Ghost ~ Hot Ones Season 13
Ever since we launched in 2015, people kept asking when we’d come out with a super hot hot sauce. We created many test batches featuring Ghost, Scorpion, and Reaper chile peppers, but we weren’t very happy with the results. While these chiles deliver supreme pain, their flavor was just blah (in our opinion). So we decided to fix that.
For Bourbon Habanero Ghost, we started with Habanero (an amazing tasting chile and our number 1 seller) and added a bourbon base (the alcohol cooks out). Next came select ingredients to compliment the theme and flavor profile. At this point, we added Ghost peppers to bring up the heat. Makes hot heads smiley and regular peeps cry.
